Receiving the Phoenix Award by the Mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed as a leader in the community, Recognized in Who’s Who in Black Atlanta, and my most recent being a Competition Judge for Bronner Bros. Beauty Show.

My job is

inspire future beauty professional s to believe in themselves and have FUN doing what they love to do.

because the company was built on integrity and Passion for the Beauty Industry. There are no limits for growth.

My mentor is

I have several, Reknown Hair designer Carol Morrow-she taught me to have strong work ethics , she trained me to WIN competitions and she introduced me to Paul Mitchell. Taffi Dollar-she taught me to have grace and character doing what I love to do.

Without Genesis Hair Art, I

would not a have a place where stylists can train, grow and develop into great Hairdressers .

My greatest accomplishment

is winning my first major hair competition. That moment solidified my position in the industry, and confirmed that what I do is commendable and important.

My job is

to be my very best and keep pushing myself to higher levels.

My mentor is

definitely more than one person! I receive wisdom however it comes! Right now it's coming from Sherita Williams.

The best advice I ever got was

to educate, prepare, and trust myself. We don't make mistakes.. only discoveries!

My favorite experience at Genesis

is the feeling I get after making a client super excited and when they leave feeling their best!

My personal goal is

My greatest accomplishment

My greatest accomplishment is becoming a hairstylist at a very successful hair salon because it has always been my dream since I was a little girl combing my baby dolls hair.

My mentor is

Sherita Cherry Williams….The baddest hairstylist in the world!!!!......I would not be the stylist that I am today if it were not for her.

The best advice I ever got was

To make goals for yourself and try to make sure that you reach them.

My personal goal is

To get a college degree and continue to keep the passion that I have always had to be a wonderful hairstylist.

This is the place where I have learned the salon industry and I have been able to mature as a stylist as well as an adult. Genesis has also given me the opportunity to grow professionally and meet the most amazing people in the community.

My favorite experience at Genesis

Too many to count!!!....But one of my favorites is just having different discussions with the clients and the stylist. It's very interesting to hear everyone’s different opinions.
