Sherita Williams is an award-winning hair dresser. She is recognized as one of the finest hair stylist in Atlanta and now named as Atlanta’s most affluent entrepreneur in Who’s Who in Black Atlanta.
Sherita started her career in 1990 as a shampoo girl, while attending Clark Atlanta University and in desperate need of job. After graduating, in 1992 Sherita trained extensively under the tutelage of world renown, Carol Morrow of Escape Salon who later introduced her to John Paul Mitchell Systems in which Sherita is now a National Educator.
With over a decade of experience, she was honored with the distinction of being one of Atlanta’s top stylist and entrepreneur by Mayor Shirley Franklin and Fulton County Commissioner, Bill Edwards. She still remains in the best of Atlanta.
Through her talent, skill and experience, Sherita now travels the country training hair dressers, coaching salon owners, an helping stylists be success in a the beauty industry.
Using her God-given talent Sherita first specialized in hair coloring/cutting. “A great hair cutter can cut with shears ONLY without ever picking up clippers and a Great hair colorist create hair color on ANYBODY” It is an art of passion and as a true artist and the desire to be the best hair color and hair cutter in textured hair, Sherita began competing and winning hair competition all over the world.
As an educator for Paul Mitchell Sherita believes that no matter what nationality, or the texture of hair you can wear beautiful hair color without breakage. With six pair of shears strapped to her hip her hair cuts have become an adventure as she creates sculpture cutting and dimensional color techniques that she credits to her continuing education and the Paul Mitchell Team.
At the top of her game (beauty industry) in Atlanta and the most “sought-out” stylist by our local celebrities and many passing through, Sherita still finds time to give back to the community by speaking at local beauty schools.
